There is a moment between the inhale and exhale, where an exchange of energy occurs; though the breath has come to a pause, the body and space surrounding it is still in motion. In this series of twelve photographs, we explore the idea of motion in stillness. Accompanied with a classic New York City backdrop of brick buildings and scaffolding, these black and white photographs portray the human form with a sense of effortlessness. Drift into the vastness of whites and transparent grays, find direction in the nature of this environment and navigate through the darkness of it’s silhouettes.
